Cove Eco Resort is seated on Yeben, a small island off the southeast of Waigeo, one of the four main islands of Raja Ampat, due to its location this 50 hectare island resort is open year round. 1. WHY COVE ECO RESORT
Cove Eco Resort is on a secluded private island, close to some of the pristine reefs and most interested dive points of Raja Ampat: Manta Cove, Melissa’s Garden, My Reef, Mayhem, Citrus Ridge, Yeben Shallow, Fam Islands, Rufus Island, Passage Kabui, Arborek, Manta Sandy... to name a few. And at the moment, is the closest resort to Wayag archipelago, which can be reached by our day trip excursions, as well as Pyanemo and Arborek Village.
What's make Cove Eco Resort unique in Raja Ampat is its private island of about 50 hectares surrounded by amazing crystal clear water declared as non-fishing zone all over 5 km around. Yeben Island is about 7km of reefs, 5km of coast of which 3km of white sand beach accessible by boat or Kayak and some of them by walk.
The resort is committed to give a high costumer service, above and below water: the 14-18 guests on our private island have diving, snorkeling, tours or bottom glass kayak will be cared by a staff of 50 workers and the dives are done in small groups of 4 divers + 1 dive guide. At breakfast, lunch and dinner time our friendly staff will pamper our guests to the highest level with creative and unique food.

Cove Eco Resort has only 10 rooms, 4 Superior Cottages and 6 Standard Cottages, all with double, triple or quadruple configuration. The the main difference between the superior accommodations and the standard one is that the superior has air conditioning, mini fridge, hot water kettle, and the standard does not.
Superior Cottages
The 84sqm Superior Cottages characteristics: air conditioning, mini fridge, hot water kettle, private porch with private table and sunbed, large desk with chair, two bed side tables with electrical sockets, one universal socket, one ceiling fan with light, private bathroom, private toilet (separated from bathroom), toiletries (shampoo, soap, and towel).
Standard Cottages
The 42sqm Standard Cottages characteristics: private porch with hammock and sunbed, desk with chair, mosquito net, two bed side tables with electrical sockets, one universal socket, one ceiling fan with light, one standing fan, private bathroom with toilet and shower, toiletries (shampoo, soap, and towel).

Cove Eco Resort offers all inclusive accommodation packages.
Inclusions: Accommodations according your choice on Standard Cottage with ceiling fan or Superior Cottage with air conditioning. Full board meal with breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea or coffee time with snack. Laundry service. Internet Wifi in common areas -slow bandwidth-. Unlimited snorkeling excursion, kayak and stand-up paddle, each day at 08:00am and 14:00pm around our area from 1km to 16km with 1 guide per group. Snorkeling equipment: mask +snorkel + fins + rash guard. Excursion each Wednesday to Piaynemo, Star Lagoon and Melissa’s Garden. Transport on Monday or Friday from Sorong airport or Hotel to Yeben Island and return.

5. HOW TO GET THERE
Cove Eco Resort is located at Yeben Island in the archipelago of Raja Ampat in West Papua, divers usually enter this region by Sorong Airport in the Indonesian province of Papua Barat, which is connected by domestic flights to the main international hub of Indonesia: Jakarta, Bali, and Manado. We recommend all guests arrive the evening before the start of your stay at Cove Eco Resort. The transportation to Yeben from Sorong is by ferry via Waisai on Monday or Saturday. The transfer to Sorong boat terminal will be arrange by the resort and you will be pick up at your hotel in Sorong or your arrival at Sorong Airport. First class ferry tickets will be provided and the ferry transfer is about 2h. The transfer from Waisai to Yeben will be on our private speedboat, depending upon sea conditions is about 1h30min transfer to the resort.

6. BEST TIME TO TRAVEL
Cove Eco Resort is able to operate year round due to its sheltered position. Diving and snorkeling conditions north of Dampier Strait are good all year round. High season runs from October to April, visibility tends to be influenced by high concentrations of plankton that guarantee pelagic encounters. From May to November there is more wind in the region, which can churn the sea on the surface but without interfering with diving, visibility tends to be better during this time of year.
